Crisis Management

Crisis management is the process by which an organisation is faced with an unexpected and potentially harmful event that threatens the integrity of the organisation, it’s assets and/or employees.

Crisis Management can be broken down into three fundamental elements: Pre-crisis, Crisis response, and Post-crisis.

Threats to an Organisation need to be addressed before, during, and after they have occurred.

The Matrix teams decades of Tier-1 operational experience enables us to deploy skills and techniques used to identify, assess, understand, and cope with a serious situation; specifically from the moment it occurs, to the point that recovery procedures can commence.

Typically, an Organisation faces 8 types of Crisis:

  • Natural Disaster
  • Technology Crisis
  • Terrorist attack
  • Organisational Misdeeds
  • Man-made disaster
  • Workplace Violence
  • Confrontation or Malevolence
  • Public Relations
